The tears of my beloved

The tears of my beloved, swept by my heart furiously tonight
The fears that were uncovered, from this crystal clear sight.

She said unto me, rise my child rise. As I was mesmerised by the unfathomable beauty that her eyes projected unto this reality. She dances within me as me, through me. Tell me traveler, who has the ears to hear these words?

Only one who’s heart longs for the graceful touch of the beloved’s silken hands. It is known that rich men cannot enter the gates of heaven, but am I not wealthy when I have witnessed the grace of the beloved? People say this wealth is of a different kind, I’m not sure If I dare comply. You say that the wealth I speak of has limitations? When you denote it to be less in a different aspect from materiality?. How can I comply with these barbarous claims. Wealth is my heart’s abode, and my heart’s abode is my wealth. The bridal chamber is ever here in perfect condition waiting the arrival of the lover. The source which permeates all deems it so.

Truly, this beauty is the greatest wealth one can behold. Granted it cannot be possessed for that would blacken the lovely light. It is not my wealth, but the wealth of the beloved. I cannot own the grace of my beloved, I cannot make an product of the beloved’s infinite love, though my mind sometimes wishes to do so.

Words fail to describe the serenity and joy of the discovery of the absolute. The supreme being is all-pervasive, ever-free and eternally happy. The Dao lacks nothing yet it still gives birth to all worlds. Its overflowing with love gave rise to the myriad of universes.

Truly it is so, tis is so..

Direct experience is presence which in turn is God

God is presence, and presence is god. If god is not present, he is not god. Now as what is god present? As all creation, as the formless unground which serves as a substrate for all phenomena to appear and disappear. God is not some old man in the heavens, god is within and without. He has no form, and no name. If your heart and soul yearns for union with god, why should he deny it? Make your heart a sacred temple of stillness, and in that will be the dissolution of separation between the beloved and you. No distinctions and no distance from yourself. The Dao sees through you, as you, and Buddha is not outside of your consciousness, it is the consciousness itself. It is the unground which all grounds and all forms rest upon. The supreme being and the kingdom of heaven is within you. Look and see! 🙂

The eye which I see god, is the same with which god sees me. – Meister Eckhart

If you ask the beloved

Two Men Contemplating the Moon

If you ask the beloved, why?
She will either make you laugh or cry.

If you ask the beloved, how?
She will tell and your knees will bow.

If you ask the beloved, when?
Now and here, as it has always been.

If you ask the beloved about love,
Like the moon, she will be silent
If you ask the beloved about joy
Like the flower, she will be silent
If you ask the beloved about heaven
Like the stars, she will be silent.

If your asking to the beloved was to end, my friend…
In silence, with her wings you would ascend and transcend.

This is yet another mystical poem dedicated to the beloved. The mystics or the buddhas of this world are in my mind, the great souls that have transcended the limits of the egoic psychological mind. They have been liberated from the chains of samsara, and it does not matter which religion or which time they lived in. Their freedom is timeless.

On a side note, I’m currently working on a project that is about the mystics of world. It will be a combination of a book/audiobook/music album where in it I will select about 6-9 mystics from different times in history. I will compose the poems and musical pieces myself and in the end have a finished products of 6-9 odes to the mystics. The project is therefore called “Odes to the Mystics” and it will be available on YouTube and on

Infinity within and on high

Starry Night Over the Rhône (1888)

Be clearly aware of the stars and infinity on high. Then life seems almost enchanted after all. – Vincent van Gogh

Awareness is key. When aware you are alive, awake and alert. That amounts to a set of quadruple A’s and how can that be wrong. However when unaware you dwell in a misty realm between worlds. Mental worlds and the physical plane of existence. Why not be total in your experience of your immediate self and surrounding, only then is the enchantment van Gogh speaks about possible. Perhaps even more than enchantment, even ecstasy is possible if you are seeing from the right place.

Everything in your life should be oriented towards aligning your attention with your immediate experience. Life is experience, and when your distanced from experience you are alienated from life, and maybe then you could mysteriously transform into an alien.. or.. maybe not… moving on!

Nevertheless take the words of van Gogh into consideration and look up towards the sky and behold the starry stars. Infinity is at your door waiting for you to open and enter. My advice on top of the advice given by the great dutch painter with a sad ending, is to look and be aware just as much to that which exists within you. Infinity isn’t merely outside, it is inside as well, perhaps even more so. Look, see and bind the two worlds into one. Ascend and transcend your boundaries. Awareness is key.

Yours lovingly
Daniel 🙂

The Door of Direct Experience

In this very moment, you can be in total harmony with your own immediate experience, and being in tune with ones own self is the surest way to understand and enjoy the life that is being lived. Here below are four phases on how you can do or rather allow direct experience to happen naturally. I recommend a slow reading of all these phases simultaneously as you’re trying to live out the guidelines.

Phase 1: Sit or lay down somewhere you can be relatively comfortable. Then wind down and proceed by effortlessly turning your minds eye or attention towards the sensation of having a physical body. Feel the weight of it and the buzzing sensations of the primal life force moving through you. If there is any specific place of discomfort or if there is any bodypart that maybe happens to be a little cold, irritated or what have you, turn your attention gently towards that area and rest your awareness there. If you’d like you could go deeper into that area by placing your hands consciously on that bodypart and by doing so combining your senses and mind, if not just continue observing the sensations happening in your body. Now defocus from these localized parts of your body and again feel your body’s total weight. Feel its diversity and its unity. Rest your awareness on the entire body as one organism, and don’t give too much attention to the separate parts. Feel it and be it.

Phase 2: Now that you are at ease and your attention is one with your body, turn your attention towards more subtle objects occurring in the screen of your consciousness. Notice how your thoughts and feelings appear and disappear, see how they connect with each other and in doing so forming a certain narrative or description of what happened or of what is going to happen. Notice these diverse mental and emotional energies and try to feel them out just the same way you felt out your body. Now of course you can’t physically touch or grasp a thought or an internal feeling the same way you can do with a body part, however what you can do is rest your minds eye on them. In fact you are doing so each and every second they appear without really noticing it. Every thought appears to suck in your attention towards itself involuntarily. Notice this and notice this subtle internal realm of yourself.

Phase 3: Now switch back your attention towards the body again. Everything is still there I presume and the sensations may have migrated or changed places but the life force buzzing in you is still pretty similar to how it was a couple minutes ago. Now gently switch back again, turn your minds eye towards the internal world of you, your personality, your thoughts and your feelings. Try now as if you could hold your own biography and life story in your minds grasp. Try to know your entire story by simply resting your attention on the entire mental realm. The mental realm which is called the story of me. Feel the subtle realms of your consciousness. and now turn back your attention towards the weight of your body. Feel the whole body as one unit, and don’t pay too much attention to certain specific places, but see rather the totality of the body. Feel the entire body pulsating with life and proceed now to the next stage and final stage.

Phase 4: This phase is the climax of all the other phases. Now go about by turning your attention towards itself. This will sound strange and counterintuitive but give it a try and see what happens. See how the attention is always moving and changing the object of its focus. Try to direct its focus on itself, or to put it in another way, turn your attention towards your own awareness. In the beginning it will feel like your trying to look at your own eyes but this will be transformed. See how the attention is at times like a monkey on a tree that jumps around restlessly. Observe the tendencies of how your attention functions. Now know with clarity that this attention is an integral aspect of you, but keep in heart that its still an aspect of you and not your definition. You are something that watches the attention moving about hither and thither, your nature is not its nature. You are beyond it, just as you are beyond your body, your thoughts, your feelings, your personality, your biography, your dreams, your fears, your identity and your mind. You are even beyond your minds eye. These are merely aspects of your being but they are not who you are.

You have neither beginning or end. You cannot be seen by your attention which sees all other objects, because your not an object whether physical or mental to be seen. You are the seer of all things and therefore in constant absolute subjectivity. Anything that your mind can see is not who you are. Your essence is immaculate and your nature is formless. Realize this deeply in your being and you shall forever be in direct experience of yourself and the universe. You have no name, you have no form, you are eternally happy and content. You cannot be destroyed nor can you be created, notice that in this state you have neither friend nor foe, sister nor brother, father nor mother. In this state you are free from all bindings and attachments. You are eternally free because you rest in your own weightless and formless space. You cannot be defined by any faculty of the intellect, for your realm is beyond them. This is the ultimate truth, see and let see. You are who you are looking for and what you are looking for is where your looking from.

You  🙂
