A Seeker's Thoughts on Art
In The Door of Direct Experience, I laid forth the paradigm that art is a door to the timeless, and it is precisely this timeless quality which we enjoy when creating and appreciating art.

You may be wondering what do could this timeless that I speak of be exactly?

Well to that I would say that your source being is timeless, as it always finds itself in a realm beyond time. In other words, time cannot bind your consciousness, because your consciousness is prior to it.
